A wildflower bouquet

.
Israel is in its glory in winter and spring as the winter rains bring forth a riot of color from formerly brown dry fields. Hard to imagine that this field on a moshav not far from me was ever brown and dry, isn't it?
.
.
Looking at this kaleidoscope of nature's bounty I couldn't help but want to take it home, a wildflower bouquet* of my own.
.
Look here for more Ruby Tuesday shots from around the world.
.
* Listen to track 8. And then go listen to all the rest of them too. Better yet, download the whole album to have for your very own.
.

My photography is now available for purchase - visit Around the Island Photography and bring home something beautiful today!

If the photo you're wishing for is something you've seen here on the blog which isn't in my etsy shop yet just let me know and I'll happily list it for you.

omigosh! I'm swooning. I want to dance through the field and spin and jump and laugh and . . . oh heck, you get it.

Oh I just love it, Looks like a water color Painting. I will have to checkout your sale site. I didn't know you sold your work. That's great. I'm in the process of creating a Vintage Sewing room and would love to have some new art work.

When I saw the photo, I said to myself the same thing Dina said, "it looks like a painting." Perhaps a Van Gogh painting, or a Monet. This field would have been a beautiful video. I know, I ask for too much. : )

Colors that would make a painting cry in envy... beautiful, Robin!

We don't often think of a dry and arid land of only gray and brown hues, real drab earth tones. Thankfully. Spring is is place and the bold pastels give such a lively look in the valley, the subtlety of color adds a colorful carpet below...

I love ALL the color, this could be a watercolor painting or such. It would also work for the Mellow Yellow Photo theme. =) Beautiful!

Robin, this is stunning!
The little bit of wild grass in the background accentuates the beauty of the wild flowers in the foreground.
I love poppies!

What a lovely shot! There's something magical about fields of flowers, isn't there? Spring has come here except for the temperature. Still chilly.

A splendid scene. I'm glad I had a chance to see this one.

P.S. I love the "breast fest" logo. I too am a proponent of breastfeeding. When my children were little, I was a peer counselor and an advocate for nursing moms.

Have you ever seen the youtube of Selma Hayeck nursing a starving child in Africa? I found it very genuine, though some would argue it was wasn't. (shrug)

Hello Robin. Happy Belated Ruby Tuesday!

I love impressionist paintings and this photo of red and yellow flowers truly resenbles.
Thanks for the link to the Moshav. I'd like to know if the settlement is operational today- are vegetables grown in the fields?

Great link to the "Wildflower bouquet" song. Nice and folksy.
